1. First, double click on "My Computer" on your desktop and then double click "Control Panel".  Once you're in the "Control Panel", find the icon that says "Network and Dial-up Connections" and double click on it.

2. The next step is to double click on "Make New Connection"; wait until the next screen appears, then click Next.

3. Now click the second button that says "Dial-up to the INTERNET" and click Next.

4. Now click the 3rd button that says "I want to set up my internet connection manually" and click next.

5. Make sure in the next window you have the first button checked that says "Connect through a phone line and a modem", and click next.

6. Enter the Internet Frontier modem access number (Phone Number) for your area, then click next. If you don't have that number, enter your own phone number to continue with the configuration, then contact Internet Frontier for the correct number.

7. Now enter your username (sometimes called your USERID).  At this point you may also enter your password. (NOTE if you choose not to enter your password, a message will appear letting you know that without a password you may not be able to access the internet. If you want to type in your password, click OK)

8. Name the connection "IFN" or "Internet Frontier"

9.  Click the NO button to complete the setup of your internet connection, then click next

10. Click Finish and you are done!
