Inland Fiber Networks (IFN)
Internet Service Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 2026
This Internet Service Terms of Service (“Terms”) governs the provision and use of internet access services (“Service”) provided by Inland Fiber Networks (“IFN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By ordering, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
- Service Description
IFN provides broadband internet access via fiber‑optic and related network infrastructure. Actual speeds, latency, and performance may vary based on network conditions, equipment, distance, peering, and upstream providers. IFN does not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific performance metrics unless expressly stated in a separate written Service Level Agreement (SLA). - Eligibility and Account Responsibility
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to enter into this agreement. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account, including use by household members, employees, contractors, guests, or any third party. - Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service in a lawful manner and in compliance with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
• Illegal activity, including copyright infringement or distribution of unlawful content
• Abuse, harassment, or threats toward others
• Network abuse such as denial‑of‑service attacks, port scanning, spoofing, or malware distribution
• Operating open relays, open proxies, or compromised systems
• Activities that interfere with or degrade IFN’s network or other customers’ service
IFN reserves the right to suspend or terminate service immediately for violations of this section. - Network Management
IFN may implement reasonable network management practices to maintain network stability, security, and performance. This may include rate‑limiting, traffic shaping, blocking malicious traffic, or temporarily restricting service to address abuse, security threats, or operational issues. - Customer Equipment
You are responsible for providing, maintaining, and securing your own equipment unless otherwise agreed in writing. IFN is not responsible for performance issues caused by customer‑owned equipment, internal wiring, Wi‑Fi conditions, or third‑party hardware or software.
Any IFN‑owned equipment provided remains the property of IFN and must be returned upon termination of service. Failure to return equipment may result in replacement charges. - Installation and Access
Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to premises for installation, maintenance, and repair. IFN is not responsible for delays caused by lack of access, unsafe conditions, or third‑party property restrictions. - Billing and Payment
Fees, installation charges, recurring service charges, and applicable taxes will be disclosed at the time of order. Payment is due according to the billing terms specified on your invoice.
Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination. IFN may assess late fees, reconnection fees, or collection costs as permitted by law. - Service Interruptions and Maintenance
Service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, emergency repairs, power outages, acts of God, upstream provider failures, or circumstances beyond IFN’s control. IFN will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly but does not guarantee continuous availability. - No Warranty
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. IFN disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. - Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IFN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
IFN’s total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by Customer to IFN for the Service during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. - Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IFN, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms. - Termination
Either party may terminate service in accordance with applicable billing terms. IFN may suspend or terminate service immediately for violations of these Terms, non‑payment, or actions that threaten network integrity or legal compliance.
Upon termination, all outstanding charges become immediately due. - Privacy
IFN respects customer privacy and will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws. IFN may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect its network and customers. - Changes to Terms
IFN may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. - Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. - Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable service order, SLA, or written agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and IFN regarding the Service.
